Hello friends, in this article we will learn about some interesting facts of Computer Keyboard.  By the way, the keyboard is older than the computer. Means keyboards were used before computers arrived. The keyboard was first used in Typewriters in 1870.

There are some interesting facts about Computer Keyboard:

1. Insert, Break, Pause, SysRq, Scroll Locks These are some of the buttons on our keyboard that are not of much use.  In a study, it has been found that these buttons are not used by most people, hence they are also called "unused keys on the keyboard".

2. TYPEWRITER This is the only word in the world that we can type from the TOP row of the keyboard.

3. The spacebar button is pressed around 60,00,000 times in 1 second worldwide!  Meaning whenever you are pressing the spacebar button on your keyboard, at the same time, 60,00,000 people around the world are also pressing the spacebar button.

4. Have you ever noticed the buttons F and J on your keyboard, you will see horizontal lines on them.  Actually these lines are for dividing your keyboard into two different parts Left and Right which makes it easy to find the buttons on the keyboard and you can type on the keyboard by looking in front without looking at the keyboard.

5. The mouse looks faster than the keyboard, but in reality it is not. With the help of the mouse, we can do many things easily.  But do you know that when we give a command to the computer from the keyboard, the keyboard commands are processed much faster than the mouse.

6. In Japanese keyboards, the spacebar is smaller because Japanese people needed 2 more buttons to switch to Latin and Roman, so the space key in the Japanese keyborad is reduced by giving it additional buttons instead.  It is easy to switch to Latin and Roman.

7. The most commonly used buttons in computer keyboards - Backspace, letter "e" and Spacebar.
